Aberrance is a 2022 thriller horror thriller movie about an estranged couple that take to a retreat deep within the woods. Foreboding neighbours, frivolous mates, and darkish unseen forces result in a surprising conclusion.
Directed by Aberrance Baatar Batsukh – making his function directorial debut – from a screenplay co-written with Erdene Orosoo (Kinsman of the Solar) and Byambasuren Ganbat. Produced by Enkhmandakh Nemekhbaatar and govt produced by Angarag Sukhbaatar, Trevor Morgan Doyle and Alexa Khan.
The Mongolian Three Flames Photos manufacturing stars Selenge Chadraabal (Six Ft), Erkhembayar Ganbat, Yalalt Namsrai (Snowman), Oyundary Jamsranjav (Dysfunction), Badamtsetseg Batmunkh, Bayarsanaa Batchuluun and Ariunbyamba Sukhee (Guardians).
Plot:
When metropolis dwellers Erkhmee (Erkhembayar Ganbat) and Selenge (Selenge Chadraabal) arrive at an previous cabin deep within the Mongolian wilds, a way of foreboding settles over the couple.
Erkhmee’s seemingly eager want to offer a secure and nurturing area for his creative spouse is at odds with the violent actions and mannerisms their quizzical neighbour observes. Because the neighbour digs deeper for the rationale behind this aberrant behaviour, extra questions and hassle start to come up…
Launch:
Aberrance had its North American premiere on the 2023 SXSW Movie Pageant within the Midnighters part.
Within the US, Freestyle Digital Media will launch Aberrance theatrically on October 6, 2023. On-demand (VOD) and digital releases will comply with in 2024.
