President of IRN says that “there is no evidence of favoritism” in the attribution of nationality to Portuguese-Brazilian twins

A president of the Institute of Registries and Notaries (IRN) denies that there was “any interference or interference†in the process of attributing nationality of the twins treated with Zolgensma at the National Health Service in 2020. “There is no unusual evidence that there has been favoritism,†he declared.

Filomena Rosa, who has held the position since 2018, was heard this Wednesday afternoon at the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry. He also told the deputies that never suffered any political pressure or had contact with the Civil House of the Presidency of the Republic nor with the Luso-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, currently directed by Nuno Rebelo de Sousa. “I was not the target of pressure regarding this process and I have never applied pressure regarding this case or any other”, he assured

A conservative stated that she did not understand what could have been the origin of the email sent by Nuno Rebelo de Sousa to her fatherin which he states that they would be “100% focused on trying to help the twins get Portuguese citizenship cards†.
