At least 20 killed in Israeli attacks in southern and central Gaza

More than 20 Gazans, including three children, were killed in the early hours of Monday in Khan Younis, in the south and center of the Palestinian enclave, during Israeli air strikes.

At least 10 people, including three children, were killed and others injured, medical sources in Gaza reported today, in Israeli bombings against two houses in the Rumaydah area, east of the city of Khan Younis.

Two other Palestinian citizens were killed in Israeli bombings against a house belonging to the Abu Jater family, also in Khan Younis, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, which also reported a military raid near a hospital in the same city. zone.

These deaths come just hours after 10 civilians were killed in an Israeli warplane attack on two houses located in the Bureij and Nuseirat refugee camps, central Gaza, local sources told the Wafa news agency.

While Israel continues its ground offensive in Rafah, the situation continues to worsen for the inhabitants of the enclave.

The United Nations said on Sunday that 36 shelters in Rafah were empty after around 1.7 million people were forcibly displaced to Khan Younis and central Gaza.

“The humanitarian space continues to shrink”, denounced the UN, which once again called for an immediate ceasefire, after almost eight months of Israeli attacks and bombings, in which more than 36,400 Gazans were killed, according to the Ministry of Health controlled by Hamas.
