At least 40 Palestinians killed in the last day in Gaza, says Hamas government

At least 40 Palestinians were killed in yet another day of Israeli bombings and attacks in the Gaza Strip, while another 218 were injured, the Hamas government’s Ministry of Health reported today.

At least 12 civilians were killed in attacks in northern, central and southern Gaza in recent hours, after a house in northern Gaza city was bombed, killing two people, and airstrikes in the city of Rafah , according to Palestinian sources, left five more dead and around 30 injured.
