Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to speak to the US Congress on July 24, said a source familiar with the matter cited by the Associated Press (AP) on Tuesday.
Last week, Congress leaders formally invited Netanyahu to speak there, but the date was not set.
It has now been set at July 24, according to the source, who was assured by the AP of anonymity.
The invitation was signed by the presidents of the House of Representatives, Republican Mike Johnson, and of the Senate, Democrat Chuck Schumer, as well as the minority leaders in both chambers of Congress, Republican Senator Mitch McConnell and Democrat Hakeem Jeffries.
