Ursula Von der Leyen had just told the hundreds of people with AD flags and balloons that she had learned a new song and asked them to join her in trying to sing it. It was AD’s campaign song, the public reacted. Seconds later, a group of around 20 pro-Palestine activists, who were waiting at the beginning of the square, raised posters and sang their own chants in the direction of the German woman, rhyming with “Ursula, you can’t hide, you’re funding genocide” (“Ursula, you cannot hide, you are financing the genocide”).
