European: there were many more votes in the Algarve, Alentejo and Interior (and the vote on mobility may have been the secret)

Contrary to all expectations, even due to the long weekend, abstention fell by 6.8 percentage points in this Sunday’s European elections. Although the National Elections Commission says that there is no data to say how many people used this means to cast their vote, the evolution of participation by municipality indicates that the debut of the vote in mobility will be one of the most plausible explanations for this evolution.
