Mayan welcomes Cotrim’s victory, but criticizes the campaign and calls for internal dialogue

The former candidate for Belém and founder of the Liberal Initiative (IL), Tiago Mayan Gonçalves, wrote an open letter to the two MEPs elected by the party, with some criticisms, calls for dialogue between liberal views and five suggestions for the mandate of João Cotrim de Figueiredo and Ana Martins, calling for dialogue with the party’s grassroots.

Considering that the dialogue channel must be open, this group of liberals invites elected MEPs to “actively contact†the “United for Liberalism†movement, which defends a new vision for the IL, convinced that “United can work together to promote liberal values ​​in the party, the country and in Europe”.
