Ukraine’s biggest music festival will take place for the first time since the Russian invasion

The Atlas festival, the biggest music festival in Ukraine, will take place again in Kyiv this year, from 12 to 14 July.

The event, which, according to “NME”, brought together 600,000 people in the last edition it took place (2021), was interrupted after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, in February 2022. In 2021 , featured names such as Liam Gallagher, Chemical Brothers, Placebo or Prodigy on the poster.

This summer, the poster will feature more than 70 Ukrainian artists, such as BoomBox, Artem Pivovarov or Verka Serduchka, who will be joined by international names yet to be revealed.

Part of the proceeds from tickets will be donated to the Ukrainian army. In the event of a Russian attack, reports “NME†, the festival has prepared a strong security device, with festival-goers being able to take refuge in an underground car park.
