Begoña Gómez called to testify in court: find out about the case against the wife of the Spanish prime minister

The Spanish political opposition, especially the Popular Party (PP, center-right) found a true vein to wear down its main adversary, Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, and his Socialist Operà Party. Spanish government (PSOE, center-left) in the countdown to the European elections on June 9th. A judicial investigation, initially not very relevant, casts doubts on the honorability and ethics of the behavior of Sánchez’s wife, Begoña Gómez and reached unimaginable dimensions, which could o have influence on going to the polls.

This Tuesday, after doubts and delays, the investigating judge called Gómez back as an investigator, on July 5th. She must appear in court accompanied by her lawyer.
