Primavera Sound Porto: one of the festival’s biggest stages is closed “for safety reasons”
One of the stages at the Primavera Sound Porto festival is closed, on the second day of the festival. On the so-called Vodafone stage, the larger of the two that, side by side, occupy the Parque da Cidade lawn, cranes and repair activity can be seen. The space is closed.
The organization of Primavera Sound Porto, in charge of Pic-Nic Produções, issued a statement stating that, for security reasons related to “the assembly of structures†on the Vodafone Stage, the programming of the same, which should have started at 5:50 pm, may undergo changes.
The program for this stage includes, this Friday, concerts by Mutu, Classe Crua, Legendary Tigerman and Justice. Contacted by BLITZ, the organization’s spokesperson did not clarify the situation in greater detail and referred to the information already provided.
The second day of Primavera Sound Porto began with adverse weather conditions, with heavy rain and thunderstorms expected throughout the rest of the day.
Lana Del Rey is the headliner of the day, performing on the Porto stage, the biggest at the event, at 11:15 pm.
