Stabilize to wear down the Government: the PS gains strength in making the Budget viable, but in Chega everything is “unpredictable”
The political framework emerging from the European elections tends to favor the approval of the State Budget (OE) and stability, with Luís Montenegro continuing as head of the Government. In the PS, there are leaders who were previously among the most firm in defending the vote against the OE, but who are now beginning to have doubts about whether this is the best path, Expresso found out in conversations with socialist sources – after Pedro Nuno Santos said, in his victory speech, that he would not contribute to instability.
