Tatanka (The Black Mamba): “I have four younger brothers living at home with their parents. The new generations are screwed”

In an interview with Posto Emissor, Tatanka, lead singer of Black Mamba, addressed the challenges facing young Portuguese people.

Drawing on his experience, he states: “I have four younger brothers, aged 24, 22, 18 and 16. With the age [dos mais velhos], I no longer lived at my parents’ house. How can they get out? If you want to be someone in life, this generation has to emigrate,” he laments.

“What incentives are there to stop being a kid and start being an independent adult? The new generations are in trouble”, he says, defending the creation of solutions to prevent the departure of “national talent”.

You can hear the full answer from 1h 8m 8s onwards.

At the end of this year, Black Mamba will release the album “Last Night in Amsterdam†. In 2025, they will bring “immersive shows†to the coliseums in Lisbon and Porto, on January 17 and 24, 2025, respectively.
