“We have to be prepared for years or decades of containment of Russia”, says Czech deputy foreign minister

Russia was not invited to the summit that will take place in Switzerland in a few days, and where a formula for peace will be discussed. It was not, nor should it have been, according to Jan Marian, ruler of Czechia, who in 2021 worked at the Czech embassy in Moscow. In an interview with Expresso, at the Estoril Political Forum, which took place between the 3rd and 5th of June at the Hotel Palácio Estoril, organized by the Institute of Political Studies of the Catholic University, the deputy minister of Foreign Affairs of Czechia explains the advances made by the Europeans, but above all by the Czechs, in terms of Defense, and admits that – given the attempt at Russian interference – it is difficult to survey the markets for military material.
